Bensalem waterfront redevelopment
Bensalem shifts focus of waterfront redevelopment plan
Bensalem Township Council reached a compromise agreement on its newest proposal for properties between its Delaware River access and Interstate 95. Township officials wanted to convert the R-55 district —
Roughly 640 acres that are home to several warehouses and manufacturers, and some residential — into a residential-heavy, mixed-use area that would feature walkable communities to better utilize the river location.
The initial proposal was met with opposition from business leaders who worried that zoning on their properties would change and limit their uses. As a compromise, the township council unveiled plans to create an overlay within the district that separates the riverfront from the rest of the district.
All light industrial uses that now exist would remain under the new plan, and the remaining part of the district, especially the portion facing the waterfront, will be rezoned. The new plan would need approval from the Bensalem Township Planning Commission and the Bucks County Planning Commission.

Fall Organizing for your clothes
It’s that time of the year where the weather changes and we need to take out the fall and winter clothes and put away the spring and summer clothes.
This year I decided to look for ways to organize and make this chore easier. I find when I have things organized I don’t forget my favorite shirt in the back of the closet or buy new clothes that I don’t need because I already have them.
I hope this article helps you as much as it helped me. Click on the above link for more information.

Middletown Warehouse Plans – Neighbor Concerns

How will this effect your neighborhood?
Middletown neighbors are worried warehouse plans could bring noise and traffic
Residents of a quiet Langhorne neighborhood are concerned a surge in development could lead to traffic and noise problems. The area is set to be sandwiched between new homes as the Oxford Valley Mall area is redeveloped, and roughly 800,000 square feet of warehouse space.
Work recently began on construction of roughly 600 apartments at the Oxford Valley Mall by developer Cornerstone Tracy. A huge warehouse with a tractor-trailer parking area is proposed for what’s known as the Reedman-Toll tract situated behind Hulme Avenue and to the side of other homes in Langhorne Gardens. The developer, 213 Industrial LLC, also wants to build a second, bigger warehouse on another former Reedman-Toll tract on the other side of East Old Lincoln Highway (Route 213).
Neighboring residents aren’t convinced that the sound-stifling walls proposed by the developer will work, and they fear they will be covered with graffiti. They’re worried about light pollution and the noise of trucks in a 24-hour facility.
The zoning is on the side of the developer, as the land is zoned for M-1, light manufacturing, and warehouses are an allowable use. The supervisors are concerned that if they outright deny the proposal, that they would have to defend an expensive legal appeal to Bucks County Court and could lose. The supervisors voted 4-1 to table the proposal to deny the project, with Supervisors Chair Mike Ksiazek voting against the motion. Supervisor Anna Payne suggested a meeting with residents and the developer to try to iron out issues. The developer’s attorney, Michael Malloy, said they hope to have it sometime in mid-October.

My second passion skincare

In addition to being a licensed Realtor, I am also a licensed Esthetician. Skincare is so important and with winter coming it’s a good time to prep y0ur skin for the harshness of winter and dry heat.
Below are a list of vitamins that are excellent for overall health and your skin. Our skin is our largest organ and it tells us so much about our health if we “listen” to it.
Getting the right vitamins
Taking care of your skin should be an essential part of your health regimen. It is, after all, your body’s largest organ.
The first thing most health professionals will tell you to do in order to keep your skin healthy is to limit your exposure to the sun’s harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays and wear protective sunscreen when you’re exposed to sunlight.
But the sun isn’t all bad. Just 10–15 minutes of daily exposure helps manufacture vitamin D throughout the skin. Vitamin D is one of the best vitamins for your skin, along with vitamins C, E, and K.
Making sure you get enough vitamins can keep your skin looking healthy and youthful. This could translate to a reduction in:
- dark spots
- redness
- wrinkles
- rough patches
- excessive dryness
Essential skin vitamins are available in supplemental form, but they are also found in skin care products. Learn more about these four essential vitamins and how they can help you achieve optimum skin health.
