Family and Friends – Great Start to Thanksgiving Season

The past week has been hectic in a good way.  I was surprised by a visit from a life long friend I haven’t seen for ten years.

Then over the weekend by son and granddaughter popped in, and they haven’t been up this way in three years.

God is good and we all had such a great time.  I am very thankful and the season is just beginning.

Thanksgiving is a national holiday celebrated on various dates in the United States, Canada, Grenada, Saint Lucia, and Liberia. It began as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year.

I guess when friends and family come spend time with us one could say we are sharing in the harvest of previous years work.
